Fuuduru.com is a real time, location based discovery network dedicated to food where people can share pictures and videos of food and connect to people around them who love what they do!

Think of us as a cross between Twitter, Youtube and Instagram but dedicated to food with the ability to offer relevant and powerful tools that empower food lovers all around the world and allows our users to better connect with each other.

Since development began, we have built an impressive advisory board consisting of some hugely influential players within the food industry, from TV personalities to Michelin starred chefs and renowned restaurant reviewers. We are also working closely with some of the worlds best chefs and restaurants, giving us a definite route to market within some of the worlds best food businesses all of whom are ready to start using Fuuduru upon launch.

Fuuduru is generating an amazing buzz within the food industry and we are poised to launch with rapid user growth expected.

The Job

Due to our current CTO’s prior work commitments, sadly he will be leaving the company so we are now seeking and experienced CTO to join our web startup as a co-founding member with an equity stake in the company.

Our initial prototype is currently in Alpha testing but the UI, UX and Design will be changed accordingly based on the feedback we receive so you must be able to adapt to changing demands. Our initial site has been built in C# .NET but we are open to new ways of development and if starting fresh with a new outlook is needed then we are open to alternatives. Our main focus is making sure we create the best possible product for our users so if you have new and effective ways of doing so, then we are open to discussion…

Ideal Profile

You are an experienced Lead developer, not only excited to be part of a small startup co-founding team, but also motivated by personal ambition and have the desire to grow a small start-up into a winning successful company.

As lead developer you must be proficient with building, leading and managing a team of developers as well as being able to product manage making sure that every step in the development cycle is efficient and properly managed.

You must be proficient will all technologies used and have the ability to distribute tasks correctly throughout the development team…

Desirable Skills

You must be an experienced lead developer with the desire to take a young food tech startup to the finish line.

Passion for building a company from the ground up

Knowledge of social media technologies

Experienced with picture and video sharing technologies

Passionate about food

Extras

You can contribute in your spare time until funding is received at which point a paid salary will be offered on top of your equity stake.

Fuuduru is incorporated and based in London so we require someone who is based in or around the City. Regular meets will take place between the co-founders and when funding is received we will be rapidly building a full time development team.
