Tengio is a fast growing tech start-ups with a track record in building apps featured in the top 10 app on Google Play. You will be working on some of the top UK mobile applications with over 4 Millions users, in a collaborative Agile environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Architect and develop large-scale, well-written applications
  • Contribute to the performance and reliability of mass market apps
  • Find innovative ways to increase application efficiency
  • Join the Tengio team in their continuous efforts to push the limits of performance, code reusability and quality of their Android apps
  • Interact with clients, exploring and advising technological possibilities, discovering solutions that fit their goals

Skills and Requirements:

We are looking for someone with broad experience developing and optimizing Android applications using the Android SDK. If you have a passion for run-time efficiency, reducing APK size, or minimizing memory overhead, we’d love to chat!

Skills:

  • 2+ years experience
  • Experience shipping one or more Android apps, ideally available on Google Play
  • Strong coding abilities and experience with Java and Android SDK
  • Previously worked on commercial mobile applications
  • Knowledge of Android UI frameworks.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in TDD
  • Continuous integration
  • B.S. or M.S. Computer Science
  • Experience in understanding large and complex code bases, including API design techniques to help keep them clean and maintainable.
